Procedure

SPDCL (Southern Power Distribution Company Limited) is providing an option to pay the bills online for Hyderbad, Rangareddy, Mahboobnagar, Medak, Nalgonda district.

Please follow the procedure to pay the bills online.

• Please click on this link which is mentioned above 3 options
• Select your district
• Select your ERO (Electricity Revenue Office)
• Enter your Service Number. If you don't know how to find your service number on your electricity bill. Please see this link to know about your bill.
• Online Bill Inquiry
• Select your type of payment (Current/Advanced)
• Click on "Submit" button
  It will go to next page if all the details are correct.
• Verify the "Name" and "Address"
• Enter the "Amount" which you want to pay
• You have different payment options like (Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking)
• Select any one them and proceed to payment
• Like all those online payments, you have to give your card/netbanking details to finish the payment.

Verify Previous Payment:

• After the payment of your bill you can verify the payment by clicking on this link
• Verify Bill Payment
• Select your district
• Select your ERO (Electricity Revenue Office)
• Enter your Service Number
• Click on "Submit" button to get the last payment details.

Register and Pay Online

• If you register with your "Service Numer" then you can pay online and verify your payment history also. To register with SPDCL, click on the below link
• SignUp/Login
• Click on the "New User?Sign Up"
• Enter your details
• Click on "Register" to complete the registration.
• By now onwards you can login to your account and pay the bills online.

Unable to open WebEx issue on Windows 10 solution

Hi all,
I was facing an issue with opening WebEx on my Windows 10. I found the solutions from different sources and wants to share with you.

Procedure

1. Open the WebEx link in IE
2. Press F12 (Development Tools) on keyboard or from settings icon from top right corner IE
3. Navigate to “Emulation” tab
4. Select “Document Mode” as 9
5. Select “User agent string” as 9
6. Browser automatically refreshes
7. Now, you try to join/start the meeting
8. It should open the WebEx application

UDPCast, udp sender and udp receiver Sharing files over LAN/Wi-Fi

Hi admins,

Have you ever thought of sending files/folders to all your systems which are connected over LAN?
Have you ever thought of copying the entire partitions including OS to all your systems with same configuration which are connected over LAN in your lab?

You might be using some proprietary tools.

Let me share my knowledge of open source tools in Ubuntu to perform the job.

It is UDP Case with following operations

Ubuntu Windows dual boot order changes GRUB

Hi friends,

From long time, I was thinking of modifying my default boot option to Windows instead of Ubuntu. Finally today, I've done those changes in my laptop.

My system has Windows 10 and Ubuntu 14.04 dualboot and Ubuntu OS is my default boot option with 10 seconds timeout.

I thought of sharing the information with everyone.

Please open the terminal and run the followin commands in sequence 

1. sudo add-apt-repository ppa:danielrichter2007/grub-customizer
2. sudo apt-get update
3. sudo apt-get install grub-customizer

By now, grub-customizer will be successfully installed in your PC.

Please follow the below step to do the necessary changes in boot order

• Open the grub-customizer

 

• Grub customizer lists the installed OS with versions

 

• Rename the OS entry by right clicking and selecting "Rename" option [Optional]

 

 

• Choose the default boot option by navigating to "General Settings"
• Select options from "predefined" entry

• Click on "Save" option to save all the changes.
• You can revert the changes by clicking the "Revert" option, if you feel like going back to original/initial options

Bulk import of csv, text file data into MS SQLServer 2012

Hi friends,

Today we have done bulk import of data using csv/txt format into MS SQLServer 2012.

Procedure

1. Right click on your database and select “Tasks -> Import Data”
2. Click the “Next>” button
3. For the Data Source, select “Flat File Source”.
4. Browse and select the CSV/TXT file
5. For the Destination, select the correct database provider (e.g. for SQL Server 2012, you can use SQL Server Native Client 11.0).  Enter the Server name; check Use SQL Server Authentication, enter the User name, Password, and Database before clicking on the Next > button. 
6. Change the options like delimiter, carriage return(new line), First row as header
7. Spend some time configuring how you want the data to be imported before clicking on the Next > button.
8. Change the table name
9. Change the columns datatype
10. Preview your table
11. On the Select Source Tables and Views window, you can Edit Mappings before clicking on the Next > button
12. Check Run immediately and click on the Next > button. 
13. Click on the "Finish" button to run the package
14. You data with the table will be selected

Enjoy the simple and useful bulk data import.
